Formula One/R1/RX/Mega Sintered Brake Pads

Sintered Brake Pads are a hardwearing brake pad that has been designed to offer a stronger initial “bite” with a higher mean friction level than the Organic alternative. The brake pads higher friction compound means they’re great for demanding trails and downhill riding. These pads will excel in wet and gritty conditions thanks to the hardness of the material, and this hardness ultimately results in a longer lifespan.

Formula One/R1/RX/Mega Organic Brake Pads

Organic Brake Pads are the preferred choice for everyday commuting and leisure riding as they offer consistent performance across a wide operating range but aren’t suited to wet and harsh environments. These brake pads give the rider a consistent level of friction whilst being relatively lowwearing on the disc. The brake pad is made from a softer compound which performs equally in all conditions but it will be subject to a high rate of wear when used in sandy or wet environments.

The Formula Aluminium/Organic Brake Pads have a compound that offers superior braking power and reduced heat generation. These brake pads have also been constructed from aluminium, meaning that you will shave 13g off your total weight compared to the stock DH/R1 brake pads.
